Para Que Sirve¿? Windons Cardspace

The door

few days ago I accidentally saw on television that showed a reporter a roll of film for a traditional camera to adolescents who watched the object without having the faintest idea of \u200b\u200bwhat it was. However, for those - like myself - were born before the 80s of the twentieth century, rollin photo was an indispensable travel companion on holidays, weddings, birthday parties and other similar occurrences. Remember the problems related to it?
Yeah, there was the matter of cost: I have to save and at the same time great film I used homemade rolls loaded by the photographer of confidence that there be a film of 64 ASA professional course slides (they cost less and they were excellent!). I remember when starting for Wales, Sri Lanka or the north of Spain arming me at least a dozen rolls of 36 exposures ... more than 400 photos were a "booty" respectable and a small financial investment. And the pinch of anxiety which you felt the first vision of them: they will come good? Some photos that will be successful - if you come as I think - it will be beautiful? And the relief that soothes when they see that the end had come and almost all those who can not not ruin everything?
I, even with my humble passion did not reach certain levels of certain "crazy amateurs" that for photography dotavano of a large family of camera bodies, lenses, additional lenses, filters and similar accessories! Oh, I defended me in my little (thanks to daddy's money she had in fact bought everything): available "only" a body equipped, on the other hand, from a discreet envelope: 25 mm wide-angle , objective "normal" 50 mm and a real (and heavy) "Cannon" by 300 mm ! Used very little, I admit, but with some good satisfaction when I have gone to use it with a focal Doubler! Anyway, I like all the "fotomaniaci" I had (and still have) a place in the house where they gathered the fruits of this passion, good and bad.

In particular, this is all my traditional photographic archive in the closet door in the bedroom where more than 4,000 slides lie (almost) all well sorted in bins ready for projection, most of which are no longer seen in last ten years. Fortunately, all shippers have a label at the top that allows me to easily identify the place and year and if I have to - for example - search for a photo taken in Ireland in 1989 - I can find it easily. But if I try to print a photo it's getting awfully complicated: a shelf of the door in question is chock full of small album, bags full of photos and negatives ever ordered in a rational way, so that the rare times that - rash - you put on my hands, I get hit by a delirium total because (I confess) I am already in my messy and long.

My problem will then retrieve the photos from those places that I should write to refer back to pre- Digital can enter them, however - who knows - perhaps this blog might make me a vague attempt to rearrange. Which, however, even in summary, I have somehow started: the picture attached to this chapter, I did just last December 31 when - working on writing the next post - I tried a few photos right: undertaking unlikely and terrible ... But rest assured: I will not discourage (at least, I hope!).
