Promo for the sixth season of Doctor Who!

After the airing of this year's Christmas special, A Christmas Carol , of \u200b\u200bwhich we will talk soon, the BBC aired a promo for the sixth season of waiting Doctor Who .

The first seven episodes of the sixth season will be broadcast by the BBC this spring, probably after Easter, and the last six, for a total of 13 episodes will be broadcast in the autumn. The final episode of the seventh, second Steven Moffat, writer of the series, will have a great cliffhanger, an open ending that will leave everyone breathless. Matt Smith, Karen Gillan Arthur Darvill and , respectively, the Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams , will reprise their roles for all thirteen episodes. The story continues with The Doctor is still investigating the mysterious "would silently", which [SPOILER] caused the explosion in the TARDIS in the episodes "The Opens Pandora" / "The Big Bang " [END SPOILER] and identity of River Song, played by Alex Kingston . The first two episodes are written by Moffat and directed by Toby Haynes ( A Christmas Carol, The Big Bang ) and are the first two episodes of the series to be filmed in the United States. They will see the Doctor and his "companions" to travel from Washington DC to Utah during the '60s. The production of this new series started in November and ends in March.

Neil Gaiman, English author of world renown who needs no introduction, for the uninitiated wrote novels such as Coraline, Stardust, the son of the cemetery and graphic novels like Sandman , wrote the highly-anticipated third episode of this season. I personally hope that the third episode will be one in which they capture in our Doctor ' Area 51 (pictured above).

Introduction and presentation of the "Commitments"

Dear readers (but correct address so visitors to a blog?)

this - as can be inferred from title - is not the blog to which a traveler should be entrusted to draw inspiration for the effective planning of a vacation, and this, if anything, could be just reading to do during the trip itself ... especially if the destination of the reader is different from those of which I will write on these pages.

I was always sick of the "journey" but I never managed to be an excellent traveler primarily because the goals of my wanderings were nearly always agreed at the last minute and without the proper preparation, in addition I rarely took notes or held a so-called travel diary and so many of things that I have to say the dig (with all the approximations and distortions due to time) from my memory is not bloated.

As I said above, in my wanderings of these (especially a stroll for Europe) a bit 'not thinking about it, a bit' out of laziness and - often - to objective difficulties, I could not keep many of these news and notes about my adventures and these notes are written almost always ended up forgotten in a drawer at home if not (alas) completely lost! (BTW: you are able to write decently with paper and pen a train or a bus moving leaning precariously on the legs or on unstable support of a backpack on his knees? If you are able to do so let me know as I do because I am totally incapable!).

The idea for this blog (which, initially wanted to be even nientepopodimenoche a book ...) I got this summer reading a book, a travelogue U.S. journalist wandering through Britain [1] : certainly not a masterpiece but a cornerstone of Anglo-Saxon literature pleasant reading in which I felt more involved with my great love for this country. The author is a journalist and - as such - the written word has a habit for me totally unknown, but the lightness of style, the structure for individual episodes (albeit - in his case - presented in a logical sequence and a clear ) I have put the traditional flea in his ear.

Thinking it to my travels and memories - written or mental - that I so cherish the image of an object grant common in many families, or a drawer, shoebox or an old box painted wood hidden in the back of a closet or attic full of old photos, postcards and souvenirs all arranged in strict alphabetical order and almost always written without even a place or a date ... So, when occasionally reopen, everything is a surfacing of memories more or less accurate: vacation photos of three years ago, an old letter from a grandfather, the school photos - strictly black and white - made decades before (with signatures of fellow behind that you do not know anything or that you do not conserve memory), a shell nibbled (Cara, but where we got? On the beach of Riccione in '89? Or, perhaps, picked Franchino in Versilia in '93? "), Entrance fees to museums or monuments, souvenirs and so unlikely.

My memories are exactly that: sometimes surprisingly accurate, more often confused when fun to remember a comic situation, or when a simple remembrance of a special moment or an emotion. And the sequence in which they will present exactly the random order in which I will flow from the mind and, when possible, I shall avail myself of my few notes made in bulk and some photos (if available ...). Needless to say, the frequency of updates will, in principle, random ... so if you wait until the next update of this blog will not have to do is come here every now and see what happened!

Doctor Who in January 2011 on RAI 4

I am very happy to start talking about Doctor Who with news related to the Italian territory, because it is clear that the good old Doctor had in Italy a very happy lot. The first episode was sent to Italy by RAI 1 in 1980, the series was created in '63, along with a group of other partial points belonging to the twelfth and thirteenth season. The new series, however, was broadcast in the autumn of 2005 at Jimmy, Sky Channel, with Christopher Eccleston dubbed into Italian by Fabrizio Pucci , the second and third, with David Tennant ( pic ) voiced by Christian Iansante always have aired on Jimmy in 2006, the fourth season has so far been sent only the Christmas special, Voyage of the Damned. In Home Video, the situation is even more sad, have been published by DNC Entertainment DVD three caskets with the "best" years of Patrick Troughton and William Hartnell and the first season of new series, but because of the failure of distribution house titles have gone out of print, it remains just a case of two films, published by the Cecchi Gori, Dr. Who and the Daleks and Dr. Who and the future of one million years, available on DVDWeb.it .

But as you may have deduced from the title of the post, things are about to change.
Rai4 , free digital terrestrial channel, will air, starting in January 2011, all episodes of new series of Doctor with special attachments, is confirmed by an email sent to the drafting of Rai4 personally, through email, info@rai4.it .

Through the Facebook page Rai 4 new details are emerging of the dubbing and airing Torchwood and Sarah Jane , which depend the success (plays auditel) of Doctor Who in Italy.
The Italian dubbing will be furnished by the BBC, and will double again Christian Iansante Tennant in the fourth novel, all episodes will be broadcast in widescreen 16 / 9.
